SEC Project Engineer, Krishan Ginige,
joins Verde Valley Leadership Class 5

Verde Valley Leadership welcomed Class V to their orientation retreat held at Jackpot Ranch in Camp Verde on Sept. 17 and Sept. 18.  the 11 class members, representing a variety of businesses and industries in the Verde Valley, were led by Al and Jodie Filardo of the Filardo Group, in a two-day workshop focused on leadership.

Class V received hands-on instruction and training in leadership.  They were given exercises and personal challenges to prepare them for their upcoming intensive year of training.  As one class member stated, “The retreat was one of the most motivating events I have been to in a long time.”

Over the next year, the class members will participate in a program focused on current issues faced in the Verde Valley.  Each month, a new issue is explored through discussions and presentations from experts on the topic.

The current Board of Directors of Verde Valley Leadership is excited that Class V includes a diverse group of individuals who sill bring creativity and enthusiasm to the program.
